Immigrant/Refugee Domestic Violence Victim Transportation to Safe Shelter and Supportive Services  $10,000 To provide transportation to safe shelter, counseling, court, and legal services to increase safety and well-being for immigrant/refugee domestic violence victims and their children.

General Operations   $50,000 To continue providing interpretation, mental health, social services, and legal services to non-English speaking refugees and immigrants in the Metropolitan St. Louis area.

Collinsville, IL

Collinsville Faith in Action   $30,000 To provide free transportation and activities to ease loneliness and prevent isolation among older adults living in the Collinsville, IL area. Transportation includes trips for shopping and errands, as well as to and from doctor visits; activities include reassurance calls, friendly visits, and seasonal yard maintenance.

Community Connections  $50,000 To provide comprehensive case management to promote independent living for older adults residing in University City area. Goal is to enhance self-reliance and dignity, while decreasing unnecessary nursing home admissions.

Translation Services for In-Home Family Therapy  $6,000 To provide free interpretation services to facilitate in-home family therapy for English language learning clients. Parents will also receive psychological education, parenting strategies, and skill building to prevent child abuse.

Coalition Against Trafficking and Exploitation  $50,000 To build the infrastructure of Coalition Against Trafficking and Exploitation (CATE) into a state-wide coordinated coalition of agencies and individuals to prevent and respond to human trafficking and exploitation through advocacy, public policy, education, and direct outreach strategies.

Bridging the Gap: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Screening and Prevention Among Immigrants in St. Louis  $25,000 To provide language-appropriate pre-diabetes education and prevention services to immigrants and minorities, specifically southeast Asian immigrants. Services, provided on-site, include: screenings, medical handbook in multiple languages, interpreters, and volunteers with medical interpreter training.

General Operating Funds to Support In-Home English Tutoring  $30,000 To support one-on-one English tutoring to the isolated foreign-born population. The volunteer teacher’s one-on-one instruction includes speaking, reading, and writing English in two one-hour in-home sessions.

 Hammers of Hope  $34,532 To increase safety, improve accessibility, and increase independence of vulnerable older adults living in Jefferson County through minor repairs made in homes of qualifying low-income house owners.

Capacity Building Grant Missouri Energy Care  $15,625 To conduct an organizational assessment and strategic plan to help the board and senior staff increase the organization’s effectiveness by improving core capacities – communications, program outcomes, evaluation, fundraising, governance, and financial strength.

Seniors with Vision Loss Living Independently  $33,600 To ensure older adults living with low vision receive needed specialized services and have access to community and other resources that will enhance their quality of life and allow older adults to remain safe and independent in their homes.

Spanish Language Mental Health Project  $50,000 To provide specialized trauma-informed therapy and care coordination to asylum-seeking immigrant children. These mental health services will be provided to children residing in St. Louis City, with an emphasis on zip codes 63118, 63116, and 63111.

Capacity Building Grant: Improve Fund Development Capacity  $20,000 To engage a developmental consultant to assess and recommend fundraising strategies to increase revenues, strengthen staff capacity, and organizational impact.

Latino Outreach Program (LOP)  $42,794 To provide trauma therapy, case management, and parenting education to Latino families struggling with poverty, domestic violence, and mental health issues living in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Jefferson County, or St. Charles County

Computer Literacy for SLPS Immigrant and Refugee Parents  $24,580 To provide computer literacy classes to immigrant and refugee parents to increase their ability to support their children. The classes aim to increase computer and online technology skills to access and share information, including accessing information on school websites and communicating with teachers and support staff via email.

Stabilizing Seniors to Safely Live Independently  $25,750 To provide case management services to promote independence and prevent homelessness of older adults living in St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren counties.

Youth Sex Trafficking and Exploitation: Prevention, Outreach, Response, and Trauma Informed Care  $25,000 To provide outreach, response, access to shelter, crisis intervention, referrals, and case management to transition at-risk youth with the goal of helping the youth develop protective awareness and self-sufficiency skills.
